FAQ

Indeed, Word offers a correction option, but it is quite limited. Not all types of errors are identified, and Word provides very few rephrasing options. Here is an example of text with intentional errors:

The correction proposed by Word

The correction proposed by Correcteur Web

This example clearly shows that the correction proposed by Word is very limited and does not correct all the errors in a text.

The time required by our correction tool to scan your entire website and check its content mainly depends on the number of pages it contains, as well as the content of each page (text length).

For example, analyzing the content of the pages on the artist's website Ghass for the French part took 49 seconds, while a correction proposal took 41 seconds. In total, 22 pages were analyzed, representing over 3,500 words.

Another example: the website GRK Art Invest, which includes 21 pages with a total of 4,968 words, took 40 seconds to analyze the page content and 59 seconds to provide a correction proposal.

Before validating the correction of one or more web pages, plain text, or a document in PDF or Word format, an estimate of the fees is always provided. A final step also displays the amount that will be deducted from your balance if you confirm the correction request.
Our web page scanning tool analyzes the actual structure of the page. Some elements may be present on a web page but deliberately hidden based on visitor actions. Our tool does not differentiate between visible and hidden elements.

Our correction tool retrieves the content of each page and reconstructs it to check for errors. During this reconstruction, sentences are placed one after the other. If the structure of these sentences is not explicitly independent, they will be concatenated without spaces.

Please note that we continuously strive to improve our tool to provide an optimal user experience. In future versions, we hope to minimize the difference between the visual content of the elements to be corrected and that recomposed by our tool.
